ECK, Johnny (Johnny Eckhardt, 1911 ? 1991). Collection of sideshow photographs and negatives. Includes a 35mm slide of a Johnny Eck ?Freaks" button; and a collection of 8 x 10" photographs (23) and photo negatives (10) of sideshow performers including Eck, Daisy and Violet Hilton, Schlitzie, Koo-Koo the Bird Girl, and some others from Freaks and other sideshow acts; and a binder of approximately 120 images of Eck and others, with a March 5, 1985 receipt from a copy shop dated in what appears to be Eck's hand. These are believed to have been printed for a Johnny Eck book project which never materialized. Owned by Johnny Eck. Collection of Warren Raymond.
