Engraved Card Box. Vienna: S. Klingl, ca. 1940 [?]. Thin brass box changes, vanishes, or produces cards or billets placed inside when the hinged lid is closed, then opened. Engraved floral pattern in lid, interior engraved (in both compartments) with the German text, ?Weinachter / 1942 / Chosette? (Christmas time / 1942 / Chosette.? 4 ? x 2 ?". Klosterman inventory number in each compartment.
