ESCHER, Gielijn (b. 1945). Pair of Stenberg Brothers / Stedelijk Museum posters. 1998. Silkscreen and offset lithograph posters for the retrospective of the works of Vladimir (1899-1982) and Georgii Stenberg (1900-1933), prominent figures of the Russian avant-garde. Organized by the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the exhibition traveled to four international venues. These posters are for the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. 46 ? x 33?. Linen backed. A/A-.
