[EXPLORATION?SAILING] Ship Captain?s Burled Walnut Chart Weight. Circa 1860s. Stamped on top ?J.C. Wilson?. Thought to have been owned by Captain John Wilson of the brig Minnie Schiffer, famous for rescuing passengers off the steamship Connaught when it burned October 1860. Height 3?, width 4?.
