Fakir of Oolu Program. Bolton, ca. 1872. Letterpress program for the Alfred Sylvester, who performed throughout England as The Fakir of Oolu. Here, the bill lists him as presenting ?The Last Link Severed,? his version of Robert-Houdin?s suspension in which the second support holding the subject was removed, suspending the lady in mid-air. One folded 4to sheet, with wear at old folds and extremities.
