Including: Signed guest and autograph books, family photographs and cabinet cards, a typescript entitled From Here to There: A History of the American Express by James F. Fargo as told to Frank Parker Stockbridge, personal histories of the Fargo family, a change purse stamped ?R.H. Thomas? with a woman?s lock of hair inside, Tiffany engraving plates for Joseph and Clara Fargo Thomas, and a framed single sheet folded letter (framed, 10 ? x 17?) from S. Kingston of Pittsburgh to Giles Lindley of St. Louis, great-grandfather of Clara Fargo Thomas, consenting to his daughter?s decision to wed, along with a copy of Portal to Paradise by Cecil Roberts, signed and inscribed to Clara Fargo Thomas. Provenance: From the estate of Clara Fargo Thomas.
