[FIRE EQUIPMENT]. Cairns Speaking Fire Bugle. New York: NY: [Cairns], ca. 1877. Metal (aluminum?) bugle with stamped manufacturer marking and patent date on top near carrying loop (marking partially obscured, but ?143" is still present). 16" long. Mouthpiece bent, metal tarnished, soiled and worn. Still, very good. Rare.
