Original blue?green cloth, gilt?lettered spine (a few very minor stains to covers, else fine). Provenance: George Cukor (1899?1983), American film director (bookplate designed by Paul Landacre). FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, without the Scribner?s seal on copyright page. Fitzgerald?s second novel, believed to be based on his relationship with Zelda. Bruccoli A8.1.a.
