FLAGG, James Montgomery (1877?1960). Help China! / United China Relief. Circa 1940s. Uncle Sam assists a wounded Chinese soldier and mother and child. In response to ongoing famine, the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War, and resulting crises, the United China Relief was formed in New York City in 1941 to provide humanitarian relief to China. This is the larger format. Framed, sight 40 ? x 26 ??.
