Publisher?s black cloth, spine lettered in gilt with publisher?s device in gilt at foot, front board stamped in blind with drawing of a skull, a single fifty-dollar gold piece stamped in gilt in each eye socket, without small detail stamped in upper-left portion of skull. Original first-issue dust jacket designed by Richard Chopping, with nineteen-line blurb on the front flap. 8vo. Extremities faintly dust soiled, slight sloping to spine; near fine. Gilbert A7a (1.1). The seventh James Bond novel.
