This is an auction replete with standouts. Works by Magritte, Tamayo, Paschke, Wirsum and multiple mixed media collages and prints from the celebrated Tony Fitzpatrick will cross the block. A significant work by Bill Traylor leads the Outsider Art session, alongside major works by Finster, Yoakum, Dial, Sparrow, and Dawson. FLORSHEIM, Richard (American, 1916 - 1979). Two Framed Prints: Lowtide and Harbor. 1962 and 1960. Lithographs on paper. Each signed and numbered in pencil in the margin: Lowtide numbered 87/250 and Harbor numbered 107/250. Each image approximately 10 1/14 x 29 1/4.
Lowtide frame: 15 x 33 1/4 x 1 1/2".
Harbor frame: 38 1/2 x 18 1/2 x 1 1/2".
Condition
Each with toning and mount burn.
Lowtide slight cockling.
