For Sale / C.B. Hess Wooden Sign. Early 20th century painted wooden sign, double-sided, with white lettering: ?For Sale/C.B. Hess.? Metal grommets. 12 x 18?. Divots and scratches. We found reference to a C.B. Hess associated with the Chicago Terra Cotta Roofing and Tile Co., along with other Hess family members, but the association of that company to this sign could not be conclusively determined.
