Four Cast Iron Bar Stools from Reeves Restaurant & Bakery. American Store & Stool Co., ca. 1872. Cast iron stools with lacquered wooden seats. Height 24". Embossed by the maker on the bases. These stools were taken from Washington, D.C.'s famous Reeves Restaurant & Bakery. Frequented by presidents and politicians, Reeves operated for over 100 years and was the city's oldest restaurant when it closed in 2007.
