Jones, James. From Here to Eternity. New York: Charles Scribner?s Sons, 1951. First edition, first printing. Original black cloth, later dust jacket with critic reviews to rear panel. All points for first state present (Scribner?s ?A? and seal on copyright page). 8vo. Very light chipping and creasing along edges, pencil inscription to back panel with some dust soiling, outer hinge cracked at head of spine, interior of front board starting, spine gilt rubbed free, corners rubbed.
