FULLER, Victoria (American, B. 1958). Lost Soles. 1992. Cast aluminum. 14 x 22 x 22". Weighs over 100 lbs. Everyday common objects are used extensively in Fuller’s work. This sculpture of cast aluminum shoes is a great example of her clever found object related artwork. Fuller also has a large scale public sculpture made of hundreds of silvery high-heels to comprise a gigantic shoe. Fuller has a MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago, has received several awards and created numerous outdoor public art pieces. The artist lives and works in Chicago and created works for Arts in Transit and The People Project.
Overall good condition. This sculpture weighs over 100 pounds.
