Gantz, Charles (1865-1932). Charles Gantz Dwarf Cabinet Photo. Circa 1890s. Sepia-tone portrait on stamped mount, by Wendt, of Gantz (a/k/a Major Gantz). Signed in pencil on the verso. Light creases in image.Gantz was known as the Smallest Man on Earth in his day, with a height of just 18 inches, and is in fact one of the smallest dwarfs ever recorded.
