London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1972. Publisher?s black cloth, dust jacket. FIRST BRITISH EDITION. Brian Garfield authored over sixty novels from the late 1950s up until the early 1990s. His best-known novel, Death Wish, was adapted into a 1974 motion picture of the same name starring Charles Bronson which began a multi-film franchise.
