- Lot Description
GERMAIN, KARL. (CHARLES MATTMUELLER). GERMAIN?S METEORIC RIBBONS AND PARASOL PRODUCTION. Circa 1910. Including a gilt wooden pedestal with the capital letter ?G? incorporated into the design at the base, and an oversized parasol decorated in a variety of colors. In performance, Germain produced a large quantity of ribbons, then the giant parasol, which expanded rapidly from the bundle of silk ribbons in his hands. Height of pedestal 34?. Parasol cover restored, else very good.
