  Giovanni, Ludovici Petri; pseudo. [Johann Peter Ludewig]. Germania Princeps. Volumen Scari Rom. Imperii Electores Complexum. Hale Venedorum, 1711. Seven parts in one volume. Original paper boards with vellum bands, title printed in red in black, with device. Engraved frontispieces in each section. Illustrated with three head vignettes, including a map of parts of Gallia (modern day France), Itallia, and other Eastern European countries; nine engraved coat of arms, four colored by a later hand. Thick 12mo. Spine chipped, bumped corners affecting boards, toning at margins, cut signature from title page. A square copy. Ludewig?s most important publication, which was created as a national handbook for the individual German territories, in which history, genealogy, topography, administration, etc. are touched upon.
