- Lot Description
GRANT, Ulysses S. (1822-1885). A program and invitation from The Union League of Philadelphia celebrating ?Grant Day.? The program is dated April 27th, 1909, and the invitation is dated April 27th, 1912. Program is large 8vo (254 x 186 mm), ribbon-bound stiff wrappers (ribbon is red, white, and blue), wrappers embossed in colors, text embossed in gilt and black (some rubbing, thumbsoiling, toning, light wear to ribbon). The invitation is on card stock (147 x 184 mm) and is embossed in colors and gilt. Some toning, thumbsoiling.
