Original cloth, black leather spine label gilt, orange top edge, others uncut (some minor smudging to gilt); acetate jacket; original slipcase. LIMITED EDITION, number 135 of 300 copies SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. With an ADDITIONAL INSCRIPTION BY THE AUTHOR. Thirteen stories devoted to cattle from an author who mostly wrote about horses ?but could do just as well with cows, as this book proves? (Reese, Six Score 50).
