Group of Two ?Stayform? Corset Dealer?s Manuals. Chicago: The Stayform Company, ca. 1930s-1940s. Two small 4tos in original publisher?s bindings of limp leather over card covers. Laminated, illustrated pages. One book contains the sales pitch and instructions, as well as fabric samples. The other book lacks the fabric samples (and is worn and soiled), but has a miniature corset sample as well as an articulated guide to correct posture for women. Some general wear. An excellent group.
