HAJNAL-KARDOS. World Festival of Youth and Students. 1949. Lithograph in colors featuring a track race. English version. This advertises the 2nd World Festival of Youth and Students, held in Budapest, which featured some 20,000 participants from between 80-90 countries. In addition to an athletic competition, the event included a World Youth Congress with the motto "Youth Unite! Forward for Lasting Peace, Democracy, National Independence and a Better Future for the People!"
