[HAND-COLORING]. Group of 14 Hand-Colored CDVs of Various Subjects. [V.p., ca. 1860s-1880s]. CDVs on photographer?s mounts. Photos generally 3 ? x 2 ??. Mounts generally 4 x 2 ??. Some toning, rubbing, occasional soiling, a few with short marginal tears. Some with manuscript captions or notes. An excellent group. From the Mark Rucker Collection. Subjects include: performing women (5 cards), soldiers (2 cards), women in domestic tableaux (3 cards), people in native costumes (3 cards), and a man in a cardinal?s robes.
