  HANWAY, Jonas (1712?1786). An Historical Account of the British Trade Over the Caspian Sea? London: T. Osborne, D. Brown, T. and T. Longman?[et al], 1754. 2 volumes, 4to (279 x 216 mm). Index in both volumes, ?Explanation of Foreign Words? and advertisement at rear of Volume II (ad soiled in Volume II, last leaf of index in Volume I also soil with corner tear and a small tear to text). Engraved allegorical frontispieces, 17 engraved plates, 9 folding engraved maps, large engraved vignettes (titles and frontispieces a bit soiled, a few maps with some separation or short tears along folds, else fine). Modern half calf antique, marbled sides, raised bands, burgundy and olive morocco lettering?pieces gilt. (Volume I title dampstained at gutter, occasional marginal dampstaining in both volumes).
