HEARTFIELD, John (1891-1968). Das Letzte Stuck Brot [Capitalism Robs You of the Last Piece of Bread]. Circa 1960s/70s. Linen backed. 36 x 24 7/8”.
A vintage reprint of the rare pro-Communist propaganda poster first printed in 1932.
Condition
Restoration along vertical and horizontal folds; over-painting in upper lettering (cracking and flaked in some spots); scattered brown spotting. B.
