HELLMAN, Lillian (1905-1984). Typed Letter Signed. New York: January 10, 1952. Addressed ?Dear Mr. Fetters? and signed ?Lillian Hellman?. One 8vo page of Hellman?s stationery on white paper. Sight approximately 6 ? x 5?. Matted and framed under glass with a photo of Hellman. Frame size approximately 13 ? x 18?. One horizontal crease to letter. Fine. ?... I have never thought of writing a play with a Jewish theme for the very simple reason that I don?t think of plays as themes? but maybe, some day ??. Not examined out of frame. Hellman was a prolific playwright and author, her most famous plays being The Children?s Hour (1934) and The Little Foxes (1939).
