HOFFMAN, Gene (1933 ? 2005). Winter Olympics / Discover Denver. Circa 1971. Poster promoting the 1976 Winter Olympics in Denver with intersecting ski gloves and poles. Denver was selected as the host city for the 1976 Winter Games in 1970. In 1972, voters rejected a referendum to fund the Games, and the city withdrew its bid. The Winter Olympics were held in Innsbruck. 33 ? x 19 1/8". Linen backed. Small restored loss at left edge; minor creases. B+.
