HOFFMANN, Professor (Angelo Lewis, 1839-1919). The Wizard?s Pocket Book. London: A.W. Gamage Ltd., 1910. Stiff printed wraps. 12mo. SIGNED on the title page by Hoffmann. With the original instructions envelope and instructions. This vest-pocket-sized booklet allows the performer to perform a divination feat with cards. Any card is chosen by a spectator, and the conjurer instantly knows the name of the selection. Copy of Kurt Volkmann (1897 ? 1958), ownership signature.
