HOUDINI, Harry and Beatrice. Congratulatory Wedding Telegram from Houdini and his Wife. Sent from Portland, Oregon on October 30, 1914, Houdini and Bess write to their family members congratulating them on their wedding: ?May the journey through life in double harness of love enable you to both have a happy prosperous and healthy pilgrimage bringing contentment not only to yourselves but to those with whom you may come in contact.? Chipped, ragged, and torn; sold as-is. Provenance: passed to the current owner by descent from the family of Houdini?s brother, William Weiss.
