Howdy Doody and Bob Smith Wind-Up Piano with Custom Background. Newark, NJ: Unique Art Mfg. Co., Inc. ca. 1950s. Lithograph tin upright piano with artwork on all four sides, lithograph tin figure of a seated Bob Smith, and a lithograph tin figure of Howdy Doody. When wound, the piano has arms that cause Howdy Doody and Bob Smith to move around (the winding mechanism works when the figures aren?t attached, but when attached, they don?t move - mechanism requires adjustment). Piano is 5 ?? high. On a later custom designed cardboard display background. Some wear, soiling to tin toys. Excellent and rare with both figures.
