First edition. Contemporary half dark-green morocco over marbled boards with gilt rules, raised bands with gilt rolls, compartments with gilt centerpieces and titling, marbled endpapers, a.e.m. Illustrated with over 290 colored plates, woodcuts, foldouts, maps, and tables on the history of print making. Thick 8vo. Corners and front joint rubbed, tissue guards foxed with occasional soiling or browning to top margins of plates, vintage ownership inscription to ffep. Very good.
