IRVING, Washington (1783?1859). Papier Mache Snuffbox. Mid?19th century. Engraved portrait of a young Irving on lid. Diameter, 3 3/8?. Old labels affixed to bottom, small abrasion to image. A handsome example and the only one the author that we could locate at auction.
