J. Walton Blount 5 Cent Nut Vendor. Akron: J. Walton Blount, Inc., ca. 1942. Blount only made these machines for his own route because he wanted his machines to be superior to the competition?s (as many believe they were). Polished aluminum, glass globe with two decals. 14? high. Every time the machine was refilled it was customarily taken to plant and rebuffed. Original lock and key. Working. Excellent.
