Two volume set, half calf over beveled cloth ruled and stamped in gilt, 6 compartments boldly decorated and titled in gilt with raised bands, a.e.g. 4to. Frontispieces. Profusely illustrated with over 1500 illustrations. Boards slightly dampstained and cockled; affecting parts of text in vol. I., mostly at corners of margins.
