KARA, Paul. Karaism and Combined Effects. (Salt Lake City: Paul Kara,1926). Folded manuscript with typed outer wrapper. 14pp. Includes tipped-in envelope with sample gimmicked items on final leaf. Chipping to outer wrapper, two inked notations, else very good. An unusual manuscript teaching "seeing with the mind," and other feats of mental magic. Kara was said to be an even more colorful character than his contemporary, Alexander, "the man who knows."
