- Lot Description
KASIMIR, Luigi (1881-1962) [and] VIET, Rudolf (1892-1979). Pair of Signed Color Etchings, including: KASIMIR, Luigi. Persenbeug at Donau. [Austria: ca. early 20th century]. Color etching on paper, signed in pencil at lower center. Mounted onto paper, matted. Approximately 13 ½ x 13”. Some toning, creasing, paper on verso is creased, lower margin creased at bottom (no loss to image). Very good. Kasimir was one of the earliest artists to develop the technique of the colored etching.
Condition
[And:] VIET, Rudolf. Nurnberg. [Germany, ca. 20th century]. Color etching on paper, signed in pencil at lower center and numbered “1/100.” Approximately 11 ¼ x 14 ¼”. Partially mounted onto cardstock. Some rubbing, soiling, scuffing. Good.
