KENDRICK, Charles. A Peep at the Circus. New York: McLoughlin Bros., ca. 1880s. Lithographed wrappers. Illustrated with beautiful full-page color lithograph scenes and characters of the circus. 4to. Back strip crudely reinforced with cello-tape. Tears and creases to cover. Generally clean and bright illustrations. Copies currently held in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Yale University.
