KENT, Rockwell (American, 1882?1971). Drawings by? A Portfolio of Prints. New York: Flying Stag Press by Egmont Arens, 1924. Small folio (387 x 286 mm). 3 leaves of text including title with woodcut printer?s device, complete with 28 ORIGINAL PLATES ON JAPAN SHOGUN PAPER EACH PENCIL SIGNED BY KENT with full margins, loose as issued, done mostly in Alaska. Original publisher?s cloth?backed portfolio with printed cover label and original linen ties (top tie torn), stamp?signed by Edith Diehl (pale stains to upper cover). LIMITED EDITION, number 7 of 30 copies, of which 20 copies were for sale. A RARE AND COMPLETE PORTFOLIO. OCLC locates only 4 copies institutionally and only one having been offered at auction in the past century. Burne?Jones 205; Rockwellkentiana, pp. 56 and 60.
