Knights of Pythias Costume. No manufacturer's tag, 1880s. Green velvet robe with gold silk decorative elements, additionally metal discs and embroidery, including a large lion's head on the back with faux red gemstone eyes and nostrils. Inner lining is fragile and deteriorating, satin worn and torn in areas, velvet worn and torn in areas, surface dirt, and loose threads. Fair condition. Approximately 51 x 30 x 2".
