- Lot Description
[KREWSON SR., Martin (1912-2012), sculptor]. Nina Gabrilowitsch, Clara Clemens' Only Daughter, and Samuel L. Clemens' Only Grandchild. [N.p., ca. 1970s]. Lifesize wax figure of Gabrilowitsch in blue dress with white blouse and collar. Standing figure is dressed in custom-made 20th century-style clothing. Figure with human hair, ophthalmologist-grade glass eyes, and fingerprints, as all figures in this collection. Figure approximately 66" high. Some wear, occasional soiling, face is cracked, hands are missing. Fair example of master wax sculptor Krewson's art. Nina was Twain's last living direct descendant. Third-party transportation required.
