Ladder in a Bottle.?Circa 2010. A four-rung wooden ladder with wood-burned accents on its sides, constructed inside a capped glass bottle. Height of bottle 10". These simplified versions of the venerable ?ship in a bottle" construction are common in Europe, though the design of the ladders and the method used for inserting them into the bottles varies from maker to maker. As with all impossible objects of this type, the bottle itself was not modified in any way; the wooden ladder was constructed inside the bottle, piece by piece.
