[Lafayette] Selbini, Lalla. Cabinet Card Portrait of Lalla Selbini, Inscribed and Signed. Berlin: W. Hoffent, ca. 1900. Three-quarter length portrait of The Great Lafayette?s principal assistant and successor, inscribed and signed in the lower right. Photographer?s mount, 6 ? x 4 ??. Scrapbook remnants to verso obscuring a lengthy inscription and possibly a second signature. Sold together with a later TLS related to Selbini?s booking in 1912 after Lafayette?s death.
