Large Brass Coffee Vase. Circa 1900. Cotton wool is placed into the vase and set ablaze. The magician clamps on the lid, then removes it, and inside the vase is hot coffee, which may be served to members of the audience. A very large and heavy example with weighted base; height 16" to top of acorn-shaped finial.
