Original brown cloth gilt, red top edge, map illustrated endpapers; original unclipped dust jacket (some light chipping at extreme ends, some small creases along top edge of panels, small marred spot on front flap). FIRST AMERICAN EDITION with many ?added new facts concerning the earlier career of the hero? (Foreign Affairs Review, July 1928).
