[Blow Book] Le Livre Magique. Tomb? De La Lune 1500 ans Avant la Creation du Monde et Retrouve en 1863. [France]: MM. Gangel et P. Didion, ca. 1860s. Original colored pictorial wrappers, sewn. A magician?s ?blow? book, in which the contents of the book seemingly change each time the magician blows on the volume and flips through its pages. Engraved illustrations, hand-colored. 8vo. Twelve changes in all, including birds, soldiers, flower bouquets, trained monkeys, captive bear, church and castle, Moor, Frenchmen and women, harlequin, and others. 8vo. Backstrip worn and chipped, otherwise fine. Rare.
