London: for Hurst, Robinson, and Co., 1822. 4 volumes, 12mo. 24 steel?engravings including frontispieces from paintings by Robert Smirke. (Later gift inscription on front flyleaf). Later half red levant gilt, raised bands with single gilt fillets, gilt?lettering in compartments, all edges gilt, stamp?signed by Root & Son. ?A new edition? in a handsome binding.
