[LINCOLN, Abraham (1809?1865)]. The United States Volunteer Honorable Service Certificate No. 29947, 15 December 1864. One page printed document (330 x 152 mm), accomplished in manuscript, engraved vignette. Folds visible, margins gently soiled. Awarded to Private Frank M. Staples of the 134th Regiment of Illinois Volunteer Infantry with the printed signatures of President Abraham Lincoln and Secretary of War, Edwin Stanton. ?? [Also with:] an etched portrait of Lincoln published by the Bureau of National Literature and Art in 1907.
