LONGFELLOW, Henry Wadsworth (1807?1882). Autograph note signed (?Henry W. Longfellow?) to John G. Palfrey, 10 April 1866. One page (sight, 114 x 127 mm), folds visible. Handsomely displayed and framed (521 x 292 mm) with plaque and photo print of the author. Longfellow writes to his friend and U. S. Representative pardoning his delay and asking Palfrey that he ?believe? him. See The Letters of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow 1510?12, for correspondence pertaining to Longfellow?s relationship to Mr. Palfrey.
