MAINDRON, Ernest. Les Affiches Illustrees (1886 - 1895). Paris: G. Boudet; Ch. Tallandier, 1896. Half chocolate morocco, spine raised with gilt title, marbled sides and endpapers; bound with the original wrappers and backstrip. Folio (12 1/4 x 9").
With 72 chromolithograph plates after poster designs by Cheret, Grasset, Mucha, Lautrec, Steinlen, and others (some under tissue guards); and over 100 black and white text illustrations. Bound with an extracted review of the volume from "La Plume."
LIMITED EDITION, number 850 of 1,000 copies "sur papier velin," from a total edition of 1,025.
Condition
A few nicks and scratches to spine, corners rubbed; contents bright.
